Gadsden County Development Council welcomes Rental, Inc. to Midway

On July 21, 2016, the Gadsden County Development Council sponsored an open house at Rental Inc. Bobcat of Tallahassee’s new location in Midway.

The event was part of the council’s efforts to assist in the creation of new jobs and capital investment in the county.

According to the Havana Herald:

“Rental Inc. offers one of the largest and well-maintained fleets available to their customers. Their main customers are commercial and industrial contractors, but they also service residential contractors and homeowners.”

They provide clients an extensive selection of contractor supplies, parts, and equipment services. Rental, Inc. is privately owned and operates in West Florida, South Alabama, and West Georgia.

Their website notes:

that “under (the) Rental Inc. umbrella are four Bobcat dealerships – Bobcat of Panama City, Bobcat of Dothan, Bobcat of Opelika and Bobcat of Tallahassee. Bobcat is the worldwide leader in compact construction equipment. In addition, (they) are the dealer for Doosan Heavy Construction products for Dothan, Opelika, and Tallahassee. Doosan is a worldwide producer of excavators, wheel loaders and off road trucks.”

.

The GCDC feels having Rental, Inc. choose the county shows that they are achieving their goals with economic development.

WTXL quoted Robert Nixon of the Gadsden County Development Council as saying:
.

“So what we’re seeing is that this is just one in a series of events… We have a number of great companies that have located here very recently. And they’re all specialized industry, so we see the quality of the company and the quality of jobs improving gradually.”

The council also said momentum from the Rental, Inc. win would help them market the Capital Region in an increasingly effective manner.
